A Quick Warm Home Discount Check

We would love you to benefit from the £50 Octopus credit. However, if you receive or may qualify for the £150 Warm Home Discount, please check your position before switching.
Octopus Energy participates in the Warm Home Discount scheme, but if you switch supplier after 23rd August, your new supplier cannot provide you with this year’s discount, even if you would otherwise qualify. The supplier you were with on 23rd August is responsible for the discount. However, if you switch away from that supplier, you may no longer be able to apply through them because you are no longer their customer.
This applies to all suppliers.
If there is a possibility you may qualify for the Warm Home Discount, please check your position before switching supplier.For the 2026/27 scheme, this was the qualifying date for people who receive the Warm Home Discount automatically. If you subsequently switch to a different supplier after this date, you may be ineligible for the £150 discount for this year.
In Scotland, some people receive the discount automatically, while others need to apply through their electricity supplier. If you live in Scotland, when you switch can still be important.
