Free guidance on energy bills, tariffs, meters, heating, energy efficiency, renewable energy, broadband and mobile services, together with comparison and switching services.
Money
Clear guidance and services covering mortgages, insurance and loans, helping people understand costs, terminology and their options before making financial decisions.
Please note: Our comparison services are not yet live. We are currently building Energility and expanding our library of free guidance.
Our compare and switch, loans and insurance services will launch in January 2027, followed by our mortgage advice service in April 2027.
Until then, all of our existing advice, guidance and resources are free to use.
Why Energility Exists
Households regularly make decisions about services and financial products that can have a significant effect on their finances.
Yet comparing them is not always straightforward.
Energy tariffs can be complicated. Broadband packages differ in price, speed and terms. Mortgages involve rates, fees and lending criteria. Insurance policies vary in price and cover, while borrowing involves interest, repayments and the total cost of the loan.
And price alone rarely tells the whole story.
A cheaper product may offer less. A low mortgage rate may come with higher fees. More broadband speed may be unnecessary. Smaller loan repayments may mean paying more overall.
